The 5th running of The Dirt Classic at Lincoln Speedway has a very special format. Points are awarded based on time trial qualifying results as well as passing points earned in two sets of heat races, one lined up by time trial results and the second one inverted. The total top 20 in points make the A main with the remaining field made from the B and C mains.
Matt finished 9th in time trials and did well in the heat races to earn him an 8th place starting position. Running with some of the best in the area, Matt held his own in the 40 lap Feature and came home with a 5th place finish.

One final race has been added to the schedule for October 13th for The Hank Gentzler Memorial Manufacturers Appreciation Race.
